Hoedspruit Performance Gym recommends that the following medical screenings to be conducted prior to the first training session.


This can be done right at Hoedspruit Performance Gym. We strongly recommend to do the InBody Scan before you consult with your GP and/or Dietician.

  • Personal history
  • Lifestyle factors
  • Blood pressure
  • Heart rate and rhythm
  • Musculoskeletal health
  • Resting ECG
  • Stress test/ Exercise ECG (if deemed necessary)
  • Coronary artery calcium scan (if deemed necessary)
  • Framingham risk score (if deemed necessary)

  • UE + Creatinine
  • Total cholesterol + HDL + LDL
  • Full LFT, ALT, AST
  • TSH + FT4 + FT3

  • Vit D, Vit B12, Folate, Vit A, Vit E, Vit K
  • Iron total, Ferritin, Transferrin saturation
  • Magnesium, Calcium, Zinc, Selenium
